more info:

The Greek phrase "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" (pronounced mo-lone lah-veh) translates to "Come and take [them]". This expression is attributed to King Leonidas I of Sparta as a defiant response to the Persian King Xerxes' demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons during the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. It has since become a symbol of resistance and determination.
